You will report to the Manager of Sentence Administration within the Department of Justice’s Correctional Services Division. The position covers admissions, releases, court appearances, transfers, fines, court orders, and custody records. It also requires communication with video court staff, Court Services, facility teams, and justice partners.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret warrants and other court orders
Calculate sentences for individuals in custody
Record loss of remission, misconduct levels, and temporary absences
Maintain forms and custody information in JEIN




Communicate with Court Services and facility management
Requirements: Grade 12 plus five or more related years
Criminal justice experience, including corrections or policing
Accounting, research, and analysis experience considered
Effective typing and word processing skills
Ability to protect confidential records and information
Support correctional sentence administration through accurate court interpretation, calculations, JEIN records, and interdepartmental communication.
