Practice high-acuity internal medicine at Ridge Meadows Hospital, serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows with daytime inpatient consultation blocks.
RMH is recruiting three physicians for its group of internists and subspecialists. Candidates will bring subspecialty expertise with GIM ability, or GIM with a relevant subspecialty interest. The work includes community medicine, inpatient care, consultation, and teaching through the University of British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care as most responsible physician for sickest patients
Support hospitalists and specialties through inpatient consultation
Participate in daytime and overnight inpatient call coverage
Follow patients in the community and develop consult services
Teach residents,



fellows, and fourth-year medical students
Requirements: Hold CPSBC certification and FRCPC Internal Medicine certification
Maintain CMPA coverage for clinical practice
Demonstrate sufficient General Medicine clinical experience
Perform lumbar puncture, central lines, and chest tubes
Manage ventilated ICU patients with paramedical staff
Apply internal medicine expertise, procedural skills, and teaching capability within Ridge Meadows Hospital’s high-acuity community practice.
