Reporting to the QA Manager, the Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring the production operations are conducted in accordance with food safety rules and are compliant with the quality standards for processes and products. Perform quality testing of food products Raw material approval and allocation Perform GMP inspections in the production room Perform weekly environmental swabs Conduct training for new hires One (1) to three (3) years experience as a Quality Assurance Technician Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment. in Science or other related field (an asset) Knowledge of micro lab (an asset) Knowledge with Microsoft Office
