Apply HVAC service leadership and Gas Fitter 1 expertise at GDI Ainsworth in Sault Ste. Marie, supporting technicians and customers. This Working Foreperson role reports to the Regional Operations Manager.
You will oversee service delivery while performing equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The work includes technical training, safety inspections, dispatch coordination, scheduling support, and customer relationship management. It also involves site visits, quoting assistance, and collaboration with Sales.
Key Responsibilities: Perform service, maintenance, repairs, and preventive troubleshooting
Train, support, and lead team members technically
Build solid customer relationships through site visits




Assist with quoting and service project proposals
Identify cost savings and improve operational efficiency
Requirements: Current Gas Fitter 1 certificate
Refrigeration license and ODP card
Ten years certified Journeyperson or HVAR related experience
Knowledge of HVAC system design and building maintenance
Excellent time management, planning, and organization skills
Use your Gas Fitter 1 certification, refrigeration knowledge, and leadership skills to strengthen HVAC/R service operations at GDI Ainsworth.
