As a Senior Backend and AI Platform Engineer, you will improve ORCA's execution architecture and establish AI-native engineering practices. You will design backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and secure distributed execution. The work supports reusable AI workflows for enterprise partners and distributors.
Key Responsibilities: Develop backend services for reusable AI workflows and APIs
Expose ORCA through A2A and MCP protocols
Implement durable execution, retries, recovery, and monitoring
Establish tested workflow contracts and address technical gaps
Use AI coding agents and automated testing
Requirements: Five plus years building production backend or distributed systems
Robust Python and database skills
Experience designing APIs and asynchronous workflows
Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and production debugging experience
Understanding of AI agents, tool calling, and evaluation
Apply backend, Python, distributed systems, and AI agent expertise to make ORCA reliable, secure, and accessible.
