Ward Tirecraft High River is looking for an experienced Journeyman / Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We are part of Ward Tire Group, a corporate-owned network of tire and automotive service centres across Alberta and Saskatchewan, and a Michelin Commercial Service Network location. What you will do:
Diagnose, maintain and repair passenger and light truck vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain, electrical and HVAC systems
Perform wheel alignments, tire installation, balancing and TPMS service
Complete maintenance and inspections to manufacturer and shop standards
Accurately document work, parts and findings on repair orders
Communicate clearly with service advisors so customers understand recommended repairs
Mentor apprentices and support a safe, clean and organized shop
What we are looking for:
Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certificate
Strong diagnostic skills and experience with scan tools and service information systems
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Own hand tools
Reliable, team-oriented and committed to doing the job right the first time
Heavy-duty, agricultural or commercial tire experience is an asset
