Job Summary
The role is responsible for assembly and welding of components and supporting duties like material preparation and inventory control for the Machining division. This will include assembly, welding, saw operation and basic machining.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone with welding and fabrication experience and a mechanical aptitude looking for a long-term career path.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assembly of Machine Shop parts.
· Production welding of machine shop components.
· Cutting and preparing material for machinists.
· Various support tasks for the Machine Shop.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following characteristics:
Experience – Welding & mechanical experience is highly desirable, but training will be provided to a solid candidate.
Skills & Attributes – The successful applicant must be able to multitask, work in a team setting, and have an excellent work ethic. It is also critical that this individual has an interest in fabrication and a mechanical aptitude as well as extensive experience in mig and tig welding.
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
