We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join a team in Vancouver, British Columbia on a 2-month Contract position, with the possibility of an extension. This onsite role is well suited to an accounting specialist who brings experience in property management settings and is confident using Yardi Voyager in a rapid-paced setting.

The successful candidate will contribute to daily accounting operations, help keep tenant and property records current, and provide reliable support during a demanding year-end period.

Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounts payable activities for a portfolio of industrial properties, ensuring invoices are coded accurately, matched appropriately, and prepared for timely disbursement.
Process a steady monthly volume of supplier invoices and verify supporting details before submitting payments.
Assist with scheduled electronic payment runs,



including EFT coordination and follow-up on any payment-related issues.
Record tenant receipts and maintain accounts receivable transactions by applying payments correctly across property accounts.
Reconcile deposits, electronic collections, and tenant remittances while investigating variances or unresolved items.
Maintain complete and accurate financial records for a multi-property portfolio that includes numerous buildings and tenants.
Prepare regular property-related reporting such as vacancy summaries, rent roll updates, and other requested financial information.
Provide general accounting support by addressing outstanding invoices and helping the team manage key priorities leading into year-end.
