Manage VFX crew allocation at Framestore, coordinating production resources, recruitment, and cross-project communication for film teams.
As Production Department Manager, you will help ensure VFX projects are fully and appropriately crewed. You will collaborate with the Head of Resourcing, Heads of Production, Project Producers, Recruitment, and global divisions. Your work covers upcoming-show planning, multi-site communication, departmental reporting, and crew utilization.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and fill crew requirements for upcoming shows
Coordinate cross-project crew allocation with Producers and production leaders
Manage multi-site communication with global divisions
Monitor changing crew priorities with show coordinators




Maintain departmental reports, meetings, schedules, and processes
Requirements: Proven ability to build successful teams around core expertise
Previous experience scheduling crews or projects
Understanding of VFX production workflows
Strong relationships with Producers, Supervisors, HR, and Recruitment
Solid attention to detail in documents and reports
Use resource management, communication, and scheduling skills to support efficient VFX production across Framestore’s film teams.
