The Tool Design Engineer oversees planning, development, deployment, execution, changes, and maintenance for tooling. This work uses design software, multidimensional prints, data-driven troubleshooting, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Design, Quality Assurance, and Engineering. The position also supports product validation after design changes and customer-focused solutions.

Manage existing tool changes and maintenance activities
Create multidimensional prints using design software




Troubleshoot tool performance and tool life with Engineering
Track shot counts and maintenance history for predictive scheduling
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
Specified years of industry-relevant skilled experience
Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
Professional-Level English language skills preferred
Support Freudenberg tooling performance through design software, predictive maintenance, technical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
