Fly Sunwest Aviation’s XLS56 charter aircraft from Calgary, applying strong safety judgment and extensive multi-engine flight experience. This full time captain assignment operates on 24-hour callout.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Captain XLS56 performs required duties on the specified aircraft. The position supports charter operations from Sunwest Aviation’s modern Calgary facility. Candidates need an Airline Transport Pilot License, aircraft-grouping PPC and currency, plus applicable instrument and type ratings. Experience on type receives preference.
Key Responsibilities: Perform required duties and responsibilities on the specified aircraft
Follow Sunwest, Transport Canada, and CARs safety regulations
Check mobile phone or email for trip briefs daily
Report for planned duty following crew scheduler notification
Complete other duties assigned by flight leadership
Requirements: Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License
Maintain required instrument, type rating, PPC, and currency
Bring 3,200 total hours and 1,700 hours PIC
Bring 2,000 multi-engine and 1,450 multi-PIC hours
Bring 200 jet hours and customer service abilities
