Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer – Advanced to work daily with cross-functional partners: product managers, project managers, business analysts, developers, and QA. Advanced digital product design across both interaction and visual design, for responsive web and native apps Experience designing with, and contributing to, complex design systems Lean UX within Agile dev teams Usability research and testing to validate solutions BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field or equivalent practical experience Portfolio that includes application design samples Experience in an applied research setting including experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices Demonstrated ability to articulate design strategy, rational and logic; describing advantages and highlighting risks associated with design decisions Demonstrated expertise with design, prototyping, and research tools such as Figma, Mural, UserTesting.com.
