As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will guide architecture, planning, delivery, and engineering growth. You will design Java and Linux health checking services, public APIs, TypeScript and React console tooling, and AI capabilities for DNS and Route 53. The work supports customers managing DNS and traffic globally.
Key Responsibilities: Own technical direction, roadmap, milestones, and delivery risks
Design and operate distributed health checking infrastructure and public APIs
Define AI development practices across coding, testing, and operations
Mentor engineers through design, code, and operational reviews




Partner with over 10 AWS networking service teams
Requirements: Seven or more years of full software development lifecycle experience
Seven or more years designing scalable systems and architectures
Experience leading engineering teams, technical initiatives, or mentoring
Experience with coding, testing, operations, and source control
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
Bring senior software engineering, distributed systems, AI, and technical leadership to Amazon Route 53 in Vancouver.
