Reporting to the Chief Counsel – Public Sector, you will support outbound licensing and sales transactions for Canadian public sector customers. The work requires Canadian public sector legal experience, contracting knowledge, and sound business judgment.
Key Responsibilities: Negotiate strategic transactions and sales agreements for public sector customers
Support Canadian and international contracting compliance
Create contracting policies and train employees




Advise senior executives on government contracting issues
Handle pre-litigation disputes and legal inquiries
Requirements: Juris Doctor or equivalent degree
Seven to ten years of progressive related experience
Canadian public sector legal experience
Qualification to practice law in a Canadian province or territory
Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
Bring public sector legal experience, commercial judgment, and contracting expertise to Softchoice’s Ottawa legal department.
