As an Estimator, you will plan, organize, and develop conceptual and final estimates from project start through completion. The role supports conventional tender and design-build formats for heavy civil general contracts. You may serve as Technical Lead on design-build projects and later manage project execution. Success requires applied knowledge of earthwork, structures, paving, underground, and grading practices, plus solid communication, planning, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities: Review contracts, modifications, specifications, and drawings
Prepare takeoff quantities using Autodesk QTO
Calculate material, labor,



and equipment costs
Review supplier and subcontractor proposals and pricing
Supervise and coach junior team members
Requirements: Minimum five years of industry experience
Proven estimating and project management track record
Understanding of large, complex heavy civil projects
Ability to learn B2W and Autodesk software
Related degree, CET Diploma, or equivalent experience
Use heavy civil knowledge, estimating systems, and project leadership to deliver defensible bids for BA Blacktop Ltd. projects.
