Drive WSP’s hydropower and dams business development across Western Canada through client partnerships, winning pursuits, and strategic growth.
This Regional Lead role focuses on expanding a critical Canadian infrastructure sector while supporting impactful energy systems projects. You will cultivate utilities and dam owners, lead proposals and presentations, and collaborate with national sector leaders. The position is based in a west or north Canadian office, ideally Greater Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton, with travel across North and Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic growth initiatives for Western Canada
Cultivate long-term utility and dam owner partnerships
Develop winning pursuit strategies and client presentations




Implement strategic growth plans with national sector leaders
Identify resources and support regional recruitment efforts
Requirements: At least 15 years in hydropower or dams
Demonstrated Canadian business development and growth success
Established power utility and dam owner network
Proven client engagement and partnership development ability
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Use your sector network, pursuit leadership, and partnership-building strengths to expand WSP’s hydropower and dams presence regionally.
