Egis is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer based in Calgary, Alberta, within its Transportation business line. This permanent, full-time position supports communications infrastructure in passenger and operational environments. Key systems include fiber optic networks, radio communications, CCTV, public address, passenger information, telephony, and data networks.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise across rail communications systems
Coordinate project delivery with clients, contractors, and consultants
Review designs, procurement documents, specifications, and engineering packages
Support field verification, construction activities,



and as-built reviews
Monitor technical risks, issues, deliverables, and mitigation recommendations
Requirements: Degree in electrical, telecommunications, or related engineering discipline
APEGA registration and Professional Engineer designation
Five to ten years telecommunications engineering experience
Rail, transit, or major infrastructure project background
Robust written and verbal English communication skills
