Dennis Group seeks a Structural Engineer III for its building structural practice. This position applies diverse knowledge of materials and construction techniques across food facility projects. You will estimate construction costs, research engineering practices, inspect sites, and review project documentation. The work also includes advising subordinate team members, supporting talent growth, and assisting with interviews and hiring.
Key Responsibilities: Apply structural principles across materials and construction techniques
Estimate costs using quantity takeoffs and historic costs
Conduct field inspections and prepare condition assessment reports




Research structural materials and engineering best practices
Coach subordinate team members when directed
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Eight-plus years’ structural experience in industrial and commercial buildings
Experience with structural analysis software
Detailed planning and organization skills
Ability to travel to project sites approximately fifteen days annually
Bring senior structural judgment, cost estimating, inspections, and mentoring skills to Dennis Group’s food facility practice.
