Build cloud-based CI/CD platforms for GM’s embedded software organization, using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and up-to-date cloud infrastructure. This position offers countrywide consideration with onsite work near Markham Hub.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, operate, and improve pipelines supporting embedded software production and virtualized testing. The work combines DevOps, cloud platforms, virtualization, and automated validation. You will support scalable Bazel-based builds, co-simulation workloads, and integrated virtual workspaces.
Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software production

Integrate pipelines with physical and virtual test environments
Automate platform provisioning,



configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
Analyze performance, reliability, and software quality metrics
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or computer science field
Five to seven years in tools, platform, or infrastructure development
Expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable technologies
Experience with Azure or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and C, C++, or Java
Bring senior-level CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and embedded software tools expertise to GM’s virtualized testing platforms.
