As a Senior Communications Advisor, you will advise Town departments while developing and implementing internal and external communications plans. Your work will support reputation management, crisis communications, social media, marketing, and community-focused initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Communications, you will provide senior-level counsel and communication support.
Key Responsibilities: Develop custom communications plans for departmental initiatives
Write media briefs, releases, web content, and newsletters
Manage collateral projects, budgets, approvals, and vendors
Coordinate media inquiries, opportunities,



and in office support
Advise clients on public engagement and marketing opportunities
Requirements: University degree, diploma, or certificate in communications or related field
Minimum five years of relevant communications experience
Expertise in strategic planning, media relations, and public engagement
Exceptional writing and editorial skills
Experience collaborating with senior staff and Members of Council
