Lead high-voltage transmission line design with WSP across Western Canada, using PLS-CADD and project leadership expertise. Hybrid work is indicated.
As a senior engineer, you will support transmission projects from 34.5kV to 500kV. Your work includes route evaluation, structure design, construction packages, and multidisciplinary project management. WSP delivers Power Delivery solutions for clients, utilities, and communities.
Key Responsibilities: Lead technical design for transmission line projects
Prepare plan profiles, materials, and construction specifications
Review internal and subcontractor deliverables for quality
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and reporting
Coordinate clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements: Accredited degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or engineering physics
At least ten years of transmission design experience
Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-Lite
Skilled Engineering license required
Experience with project engineering or project management
Bring transmission design, technical leadership, and client coordination experience to WSP’s Western Canada Power Delivery teams.
