This Head of Advanced Market and Field Underwriting role leads specialized underwriting across advanced cases and national accounts. You will provide medical and financial risk expertise while connecting underwriters, sales, risk management, reinsurers, and partners. You will also develop multidisciplinary teams and support knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities: Take accountability for advanced cases from pre-underwriting through servicing
Position field underwriting expertise with distribution partners
Analyze complex sales concepts for risk appetite alignment
Mobilize underwriters, coordinators, tax,



and actuarial specialists
Support talent development through presentations and training sessions
Requirements: Deep expertise in advanced market and field underwriting
Understanding of individual insurance products
Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
Leadership experience managing high-impact cross-functional initiatives
Advanced English proficiency for presentations across Canada
