Lead operational accounting, IFRS compliance, and internal controls across multiple sectors in a senior Director position reporting to the Vice President, Accounting.
This Director, Operations Accounting role oversees financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and accounting governance across a complex, multi-entity environment. You will partner with Operations, support audits, and develop accounting professionals. The position also advances standardized processes, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop Sector Controllers, Controllers, and Accountants
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
Ensure IFRS, policy, and internal control compliance
Review reconciliations and resolve balance sheet issues




Implement standardized, scalable accounting process improvements
Requirements: CPA designation or equivalent with strong IFRS knowledge
Progressive accounting or controllership leadership experience
Financial reporting, controls, and compliance expertise
Team management and accounting career development experience
Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
Apply operational accounting leadership, controllership discipline, and process improvement expertise across sectors requiring accurate financial governance.
