As a Senior Municipal Engineer, you will deliver municipal and utility infrastructure projects across Western Canada. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, design deliverables, and multidisciplinary coordination. The position requires technical leadership, municipal client liaison, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities: Lead municipal and utility infrastructure designs from planning through construction
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and design deliverables
Act as Engineer of Record and oversee QA/QC compliance




Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and municipal stakeholders
Mentor junior staff and support team growth
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Qualified Engineer registration in Alberta
Minimum 15 years municipal infrastructure design experience
Knowledge of Alberta standards, specifications, and approving agencies
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project
Bring senior engineering leadership, municipal design expertise, and project delivery experience to AtkinsRéalis infrastructure work across Western Canada.
