Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this Senior Buyer manages purchasing activities across suppliers and internal stakeholders. The work covers purchase orders, strategic procurement, inventory, supplier performance, and SAP data accuracy. You will coordinate material readiness, cost optimization, delivery timelines, and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Issue and manage purchase orders through MRP or requisitions
Plan, schedule, and monitor material movements for production
Negotiate supplier pricing, quality, quantities, and delivery terms
Manage inventory turns, ownership costs,



shortages, and backorders
Maintain accurate raw material data within SAP
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or college diploma in supply chain or related field
Eight to ten years of supply chain experience
Ability to lead projects and support cross-functional teams
Solid communication, judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
Knowledge of SAP or aerospace standards considered an asset
