As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will guide services that bring AI research and models into production. You will work with AI researchers, product managers, and Staff Engineers across Platform AI. Your focus includes secure cloud applications, LLM systems, and search technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Drive architecture across multiple AI platform teams
Design scalable AWS Serverless ML and LLM solutions
Evaluate LLM frameworks, providers, and agentic tooling
Guide architecture discussions across the Platform AI organization
Mentor Staff Software Engineers and Applied Scientists
Requirements: 10-15+ years developing high-scale secure cloud applications
Staff-level experience operating across multiple teams
Solid Python, pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn proficiency
Hands-on LLM, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG experience
AWS infrastructure-as-code experience with CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
Shape Diligent’s AI platform through Python, AWS Serverless, LLM, and architecture expertise in Vancouver.
