Drive payment systems operations at Payments Canada with advanced RTR knowledge, relationship management, and leadership across Canada’s payment ecosystem.
This senior member of the RTR Payment System Operations team supports continuous exchange, clearing, and settlement infrastructure operations. You will provide expertise to stakeholders, work with vendors, and improve rules, processes, and procedures. The role also includes coaching employees and representing Payments Canada externally.
Key Responsibilities: Provide RTR subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders
Manage relationships with technology vendors and participant institutions
Communicate incidents and planned system changes broadly
Deliver operational updates, presentations, and training




Coach employees on RTR operations and functionality
Requirements: Business, Commerce, or related post-secondary education
Seven or more years in business analysis environments
Progressive management experience and stakeholder relationship expertise
Advanced RTR and underlying payments systems knowledge
Successful completion of criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks
Support Payments Canada’s payment infrastructure through operational expertise, vendor relationships, stakeholder communication, and employee development.
