As Distribution Centre Operations Manager, you will lead the Crawford Street team within Fonterra’s Waikato Distribution Leadership team. You will ensure dairy ingredients are safely stored and transported to ports, other distribution centres, and domestic customers. The role combines team development, inventory management, budgets, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Inspire teams and drive continuous improvement culture
Develop long-term plans and operational strategies
Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and operating plans
Ensure regulatory compliance and health and safety standards




Oversee stock control and inventory management
Requirements: Experienced leader who inspires, coaches, mentors, and develops people
Ability to build collaborative teams and measure deliverables
Clear, confident communication across organisational levels
Solid commercial acumen and budget management experience
Proficiency with SAP, workforce systems, and Microsoft Excel
Bring distribution leadership, inventory expertise, and safety focus to Fonterra’s Crawford Street operations and wider Waikato team.
