Lead building construction projects through planning, budgeting, and coordination at Rutherford Contracting’s Building Division. This role includes regular site visits.
Rutherford Contracting seeks a Project Manager for educational renovations, additions, and historic structure restoration. You will manage project administration across planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. The work involves subcontractors, suppliers, owners, consultants, and site superintendents while maintaining safety, quality, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in project start-up meetings with owners and consultants
Prepare budgets using the in-house ESP costing system
Negotiate and award subcontractor and supplier contracts




Monitor project financial health and prepare monthly reports
Visit sites and manage schedules, issues, and communication
Requirements: Minimum four years of ICI construction management experience
Technical diploma or related undergraduate degree
Solid negotiation, communication, and management skills
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience managing concurrent projects valued over one million dollars
Apply project budgeting, site coordination, and construction leadership skills across Rutherford Contracting’s Building Division projects.
