This probationary position maintains school buildings and property through routine cleaning and minor maintenance. Successful candidates bring entry-level equipment knowledge and can handle cleaning equipment and furniture. The schedule is 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain school buildings through routine cleaning
Complete minor maintenance tasks across assigned properties
Use cleaning chemicals and products appropriately
Lift and handle cleaning equipment and furniture
Work at various division locations
Requirements: Up to six months of building cleaning experience
Entry-level cleaning equipment operation knowledge
Basic knowledge of repair procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team
WHMIS training would be an asset
