Serve the church community on weekends by guiding volunteers, preparing spaces, and providing positive, welcoming assistance across ministry teams.
As a Weekends Ministry Assistant, you will support volunteers who serve through Legato, Weekend Meals, and Communion Prep. You will help the Weekends Coordinator support additional teams while answering questions and directing people. The schedule is 10–12 hours weekly, with Saturday, Sunday, and adaptable weekday hours.
Key Responsibilities: Lead volunteers by answering questions and directing people
Provide assistance when volunteers need support
Support Legato, Weekend Meals, and Communion Prep teams
Assist the Weekends Coordinator with volunteer support
Prepare spaces and provide supplies for weekend service
Requirements: Bring a genuine love for people
Interact positively and welcomingly with others
Demonstrate strong love for Jesus and His church
Adhere to Staff Handbook policies and procedures
Complete required record and abuse prevention checks
Bring welcoming leadership, volunteer direction, and weekend preparation skills to support church ministry teams effectively.
