Assisted Living Alberta seeks a Health Care Aide for regular part-time work within a multidisciplinary team. You will support patients, residents, and clients across home, community, and health care facilities. The work includes routine care, communication, and wellbeing observations.
Key Responsibilities: Support activities of daily living under patient care plans
Assist nurses with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility needs
Support recreation, safety, and organized patient activities
Observe and report patient mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain protected environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
Health Care Aide Certificate education or completion within eighteen months
Driver’s license and vehicle required
Satisfactory criminal record check or Vulnerable Sector Search
Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends
Bring patient-centred personal assistance, routine care, and communication skills to Spirit River Community Health’s Home Care program.
