Emergency Health Services seeks a PCP for its Bashaw Core/Flex program and temporary full time assignment. The position involves assessing patients, providing minor medications, using BLS airway adjuncts, and performing semi-automated defibrillation. You may lead crews while supporting emergency scenes, facility transfers, and non-emergent transport units.
Key Responsibilities: Operate ambulances and other transportation modes
Assess patients at emergency scenes
Provide semi-automated defibrillation and airway support
Lead BLS crews during patient transport
Maintain stocked, equipped transport vehicles
Requirements: Current registration as an Alberta Primary Care Paramedic
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta licence or equivalent
Driver abstract current within six months
Successful F.A.R.E. certificate when required
Support emergency and non-emergent patient transport through BLS care, vehicle operations, and scene assessment in Bashaw.
