Aerotek is seeking a Data Center Technician for a contract assignment based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The position provides hands-on exposure to servers, network equipment, structured cabling, power, cooling, racks, and related operations. Technicians coordinate with vendors, facilities teams, and project stakeholders while working across construction and refurbishment sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support data center construction, refurbishment, and expansion projects
- Assist with power, cooling, rack, and infrastructure maintenance
- Complete hardware upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning activities
- Coordinate with vendors,



facilities teams, and stakeholders
- Read technical drawings, rack elevations, and installation documentation

Requirements:

- Minimum two years in data centers or telecommunications
- Solid server, network, and cabling troubleshooting skills
- Experience with fiber optic and copper systems
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
