As an Assistant Track Maintenance Foreperson at CN, you will support the Track Maintenance Foreman with daily activities. You will inspect, repair, and replace track components while helping crews follow CN standards, Operating Rules, and secure work procedures. This role includes formal and on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect and maintain track structure and railroad right-of-way
Coordinate daily activities and guide track forces safely
Replace defective ties, rails, spikes, and anchors
Correct track surface, alignment, and gauge deviations
Complete maintenance, inventory, and inspection reports
Requirements: Experience in track maintenance or similar working conditions
Experience guiding or supporting work crews
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
Valid driver's licence
Ability to work shifts, travel overnight, and lift weights
Bring sound judgment, physical readiness, and safety leadership to CN track maintenance operations in Edson and Jasper.
