Support clients in Grande Prairie through home care, personal assistance, and daily living support across homes, lodges, and facilities.
As a Health Care Aide, you will provide short term or ongoing support under regulated health professional supervision. You will work with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams across home, community, and health care settings. The assignment is currently community based but may change.
Key Responsibilities: Support activities of daily living according to care plans
Assist nurses with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety
Support organized activities and programs for clients
Observe and report patients' mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain secure environments and effective communication
Requirements: Health Care Aide certification and active CLHA registration
At least one year's experience, including seniors' health
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and business insurance
Availability for varied shifts and changing assignments
