Deliver safe resident care as a casual Registered Nurse in Hamilton, Ontario, using nursing judgment, teamwork, and geriatric care knowledge.
At AgeCare Queens Garden, the Registered Nurse collaborates with the Director of Care to meet residents’ individual needs. This position supports ethical professional nursing services, resident safety, and practices respecting individuality and diversity. The RN also promotes health and safety awareness within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate nursing and other resident services within the neighbourhood
Lead shift reports with members of the health care team
Inform team members about changes in residents’ status
Record significant changes in residents’ conditions




Review and process physician orders according to procedure
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Knowledge and background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
Knowledge of rehabilitation, activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
Knowledge of applicable provincial and federal legislation
