As Capital Asset Manager, you will oversee projects for multiple long-term care homes. Extendicare seeks experience with construction, facilities management, and building systems. The work combines project management principles with strategic operational insight for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Manage capital projects through planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting
Develop annual capital budgets, forecasts, and replacement plans
Coordinate consultants, contractors, vendors, and third-party engineers
Assess assets and identify lifecycle replacement needs
Report risks, conditions, progress,



and capital requirements
Requirements: Post-secondary education in a related technical field
Minimum five years of relevant project or facilities experience
Experience managing several-hundred-thousand-dollar to multimillion-dollar projects
Knowledge of construction, mechanical and electrical systems
Valid driver's licence, transportation, and Southern Alberta travel availability
