Excel Society seeks a Health Care Aide for 10 rotational shifts totaling 77.5 hours biweekly. You will support clients’ physical, mental, emotional, psychosocial, and cultural or spiritual needs. The work includes observing client status, documenting changes, and maintaining secure home environments.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care within Health Care Competencies
Build respectful relationships with clients and families
Support client health, wellness, and daily needs
Observe, document, and report client status or behaviours
Check equipment and follow infection control procedures
Requirements: Hold an Alberta Health Services recognized HCA certificate
Maintain First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Provide a satisfactory current criminal record check
Enroll in the CLHA Directory as mandated
Bring client care, communication, documentation, and safety awareness to Excel Society’s overnight Health Care Aide work in Edmonton.
