This Personal Support Worker provides care to residents according to established care plans. The position observes residents, reports findings, and assists with identifying resident needs. Documentation, sanitation, and geriatric care knowledge support consistent service.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor resident care against established plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control procedures
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Know bedside care, sanitation, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, documentation, infection prevention, and bedside support skills to AgeCare’s supportive care communities.
