Licensed Opticians deliver exceptional customer experiences through prescription eyewear expertise, frame fitting, and consultative retail sales at Pearle Vision.
As a Licensed Optician, you support customer retention and associate and doctor satisfaction through accurate optical service. You evaluate prescriptions, assess visual requirements, recommend lenses, coatings, and frames, and help grow profitable store sales. The role also includes merchandising, marketing execution, and supporting Managed Vision Care relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Fill ophthalmic prescriptions and fit and adapt lenses
Recommend frames, lenses, and coatings for customer needs
Take optical measurements using appropriate tools




Resolve vision issues and support customer satisfaction
Maintain merchandising, pricing, and promotional standards
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
State optician licensure or national certification
Retail or customer service experience with results
Ability to sell and remain accountable for sales results
Robust communication, adaptability, and attention to detail
