Support residents and clients through personal care, hygiene, mobility assistance, and daily living activities in a part time Extendicare position.
The Personal Support Worker follows each supervisor-determined care plan while respecting regulatory and Extendicare standards. This position requires personal care knowledge, strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. You will observe conditions, document care, and support residents, clients, and families.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, hygiene, and daily living assistance
Assist with ambulation, transfers, mobilization, and adaptive aids
Observe, document, and report care and condition changes
Prepare nutritious meals and maintain safe, clean environments
Provide cognitive, social, emotional,



and psychological support
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent
Experience supporting seniors in community health services
Strong written, oral, organizational, and time management skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Ability to lift and transfer clients; Vulnerable Sector Check required
Bring personal care expertise, sound judgment, and compassionate support to Extendicare residents and clients as a Personal Support Worker.
