Provide safe resident care as a Casual Registered Nurse at AgeCare Brandt's Creek Mews in Kelowna, applying nursing judgment and clinical skills.
The Registered Nurse collaborates with the Director of Care to meet individual resident needs within competency. This position supports quality nursing services, resident safety, ethical practice, and AgeCare principles of respect and teamwork. Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term care nursing is required.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate nursing and other resident services within the neighbourhood
Lead shift reports with the health care team
Communicate changes in residents' status to team members
Record significant condition changes in resident charts




Process physician orders and communicate difficulties immediately
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Sound knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term care nursing
Knowledge of relevant provincial and federal legislation
Registration and membership in positive standing with provincial registry
Knowledge of nursing administration and Standards of Practice
Bring registered nursing expertise, resident safety awareness, and coordinated care skills to AgeCare's Kelowna community.
