MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant for an established real estate developer and property owner. You will manage accounting and financial reporting for commercial income-producing properties. The work includes Yardi, advanced Excel, tenant recoveries, and full-cycle accounting. This individual contributor role suits professionals who meet deadlines, solve problems, and communicate confidently with property management, leasing, finance, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review CAM and operating cost reconciliations
Interpret leases and manage tenant billings, recoveries, and chargebacks




Maintain property and tenant information in Yardi
Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Resolve discrepancies and improve reporting and financial controls
Requirements: 5+ years of progressive commercial property accounting experience
Robust knowledge of CAM, recoveries, leases, and property reporting
Portfolio management experience with minimal supervision
Strong Yardi experience and advanced Excel skills
Full-cycle accounting, GAAP, and financial statement knowledge
Use commercial property accounting, Yardi, and reconciliation expertise to deliver accurate portfolio reporting as a trusted Burnaby professional.
