Open Outcry is a Spanish tapas bar-bistro opening soon in downtown Vancouver. We run a very small induction-only kitchen (no open flame) with a short tapas menu built for sharing. No Spanish-chef background needed — we train through standardized recipe cards and a short paid trial shift. If you can follow a recipe precisely and keep a tiny kitchen clean under pressure, you can do this job.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties: Tapas prep and evening service to recipe cards (cold and hot tapas, plating, garnish); Station setup, restocking,



and end-of-night cleanup in a compact induction kitchen; Allergen awareness: flag allergens to the team; keep prep separated where required.
Requirements: Legally entitled to work in Canada; Available Thursday–Saturday evenings; FOODSAFE Level 1 (or willing to obtain before start date); Able to follow written recipes and keep a small station organized; Interest in Spanish food an asset; Spanish language not required.

20.00 per hour + tips
