This Electrical Engineering Designer - L1 position reports to the Manager Electrical Engineering Design, LV. You will make technical decisions for medium-complexity designs while receiving guidance for more complex work. Responsibilities span customer discussions, cost-effective solutions, quotes, manufacturing support, test report approval, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Develop transformer and reactor designs with technical guidance
Discuss application requirements, clarifications, and suggestions with customers
Prepare optimized designs and MIP for orders




Support manufacturing and approve completed test reports
Follow COD project requirements and timelines
Requirements: Three to five years of transformer design experience
Electrical Engineering degree preferred; technologist qualification accepted
Working toward or eligible for Professional Engineering designation
Hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving and learning
Strong communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
Develop transformer design expertise while supporting customers, manufacturing, and professional engineering designation eligibility through project work.
