Teach and assess Civil Engineering Graphics and Seminars at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus during the 2027 Winter Semester. English communication is essential.

This CUPE Teaching Assistant position supports Section A of CVG1107 in the Department of Civil Engineering. The work is in person and runs from January 1 through April 30, 2027. Four positions support expected enrolment of 45 students, with 130 total hours allocated.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide 60 hours of contact with students
- Complete 60 hours of grading
- Conduct six hours of proctoring
- Complete four hours of other assigned work

Requirements:

- Robust background knowledge in Civil Engineering Graphics and Seminars
- Excellent oral communication skills in English
- P.Eng. or EIT preferred
- Bilingualism considered an asset
- Complete mandatory legislated University training
