Support adults with developmental disabilities in Pembroke and Renfrew County through individualized care, mobility assistance, and community participation. This permanent full time position supports independence and safety.

Family & Children’s Services of Renfrew County seeks a Direct Support Professional for Developmental Services. You will support Individual Support Plan goals, daily living needs, personal care, and meaningful relationships. The work occurs primarily in individuals’ homes and community settings throughout Renfrew County.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support ISP goals, daily living needs, and personal care
- Assist with lifts, transfers, and mobility equipment
- Facilitate community programs, activities, and social groups




- Implement behaviour plans directed by the Case Manager
- Maintain documentation, reports, MAR sheets, and timecards

Requirements:

- Secondary school diploma required
- At least one year supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- PSW, DSW, or SSW diploma preferred
- Required training or willingness to obtain CPI and CPR
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle mandatory
