Actalent seeks an experienced Senior Controls Programmer for a contract assignment. You will develop PLC programs, troubleshoot HMI applications, integrate automation devices, and configure industrial networks. The work includes electrical troubleshooting, schematic review, startup diagnosis, and technical support for junior programmers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and modify Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Omron PLC programs
- Troubleshoot FactoryTalk View and WinCC HMI applications
- Commission equipment through I/O checkout and production validation
- Integrate robots, motion, safety, vision, and automation devices




- Maintain PLC/HMI backups, revisions, and controls documentation

Requirements:

- Seven-plus years of hands-on controls programming experience
- Solid Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and ControlLogix programming skills
- Experience commissioning, debugging, and launching automated equipment
- Electrical troubleshooting ability and electrical schematic reading skills
- Willingness to travel for customer installation and launch support
