This Pharmacist position oversees the Pharmacy while on duty and provides consultation to customers and health care providers. You practice to full scope within your capability, maintain dispensary operations, and support skilled services. Daily work includes workflow, controlled substances documentation, records, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities: Review workflow queues and will-call bins daily
Monitor stock levels, expired inventory, and medication orders
Control dispensary access and patient confidentiality
Meet controlled substances documentation and reporting requirements
File medication or privacy incident reports
Requirements: Strong problem-solving and action-plan execution skills
Knowledge of Pharmacy systems and strong computing skills
Maintain customer confidentiality and consent management
Follow Health and Safety procedures
Demonstrate strong professionalism and customer relations skills
Bring operational judgment, inventory oversight, regulatory knowledge, and pharmacy systems experience to Shoppers Drug Mart.
